Fisher was a wide receiver for the Indiana Hoosiers, but he then switched to Dwight Freeney cornerback in his final year with the team. Fisher had some solid success there, 40 tackles and one forced fumble.

Fisher was also a decent kick returner, and could bring some of his returning to the table with Indy.

Fisher has been playing near Indy his whole life: from being born in Cleveland, Ohio and then take about a three-hour drive to play for the Hoosiers in Bloomington. It's a pretty good story and he now is playing for the Colts football jerseys.

I see him adding depth to the squad at corner. Maybe he could play multiple positions. Do a bit of receiving, too.

The contract was a four-year, $1.83 million deal, along with a $41,500 signing bonus.

The 5'9", 189-pounder had averaged nearly 40 yards per kick return Anthony Gonzalez with IU, along with two touchdowns. All of this on only 18 returns.

Training camp starts on August 1st, and that's where all the players need to report.

Each year, they take their future Hall-of-Fame quarterback (who just might be the best ever at his position), match him with interchangeable receivers and a questionable offensive line, pair that with a defense that springs holes against the run, and then roll off anywhere from 12 to 14 wins. A Super Bowl win is always a possibility, and so is a playoff collapse. What does not seem to be an option as long as Peyton Manning(notes)  draws breath is mediocrity. Every year they run more three-wide, single-back formations than any other NFL team; every year they split Dallas Clark(notes) out wider more often; and every year the play-to-play adjustments are spit out of Manning's head as if by computer.
